ONLINE COURSE SPECIFICS
The goal of YouImpact’s online course is to encourage participants to develop a sense of personal accountability and to prevent recidivism. The online program has touched tens of thousands deeply by the stories shared by 15 victims and offenders. The participants connect with the video subject on a personal level, unlike many live victim impact panels, the success of which can vary greatly from day to day.
Our program is based on the model of a victim impact course. Of all the YouImpact graduates, more than 72 percent say they have been inspired to change their destructive behavior. Another 11 percent felt it was a consequence of their actions while less than 1 percent felt the program was a punishment.

The participants pay for the program as part of their sentence requirements. The program costs varies by jurisdiction.
Payment is made online using a credit card, debit card, Visa/Master Card gift card or PayPal.
The course takes approximately 3 to 4 hours to complete.
The course consists of a series of 11 stories, presented by real justice involved individuals and victims of impaired driving, followed by a series of multiple-choice questions and written exercises.
Completion of the program requires a score of 100 percent; the participant is provided the opportunity to correct any wrong answers before moving forward in the program.
Upon successful completion of the YouImpact program, the participant and his or her Probation Officer and/or the case supervisor will receive a Certificate of Completion via email.
